I have to agree with the many comments of "why bother" and not "enough time" - great if you think other people are interested in your comments and could be useful for public institutions such as libraries.

Our very technology savvy leader is encouraging us to participate again. Bless her. I hope I can get my head around all this........I have heard the word "twitter" so am I ahead??
Had a look at gadgets - very interesting -
In regard to prompts for this course
1 - have not blogged since 2.0
2 - not sure if like blogging but can see how it interests so many of us and the value to libraries
3 - have not followed any blogs or commented
this is not sounding good, is it

Mashups and the bewildered blogger
This was fun although I went the simple route -a simple magazine cover. It could be a great resource for librarians, especially in the local history area. Bighugelabs is so cool..........

bewildered blogger and podcasts
Agree with the many comments published - the possibilities for isolated/rural clients who can access [depending on the technical side] podcasts whether for study, social, information are wonderful. Learning modules/information etc for Library staff of rural communities which can be reached as time permits is another way for use in libraries.
